Unilever wish to have a mathematical model of the process that could be used to determine the viscoelastic properties of the mucus from the measurements. The Study Group developed such a model and showed that it could provide force-separation curves with the same qualitative features as those obtained by Unilever in their experiments. date: 2008-01-28 date_type: published pages: 24 citation: Chiu-Webster, Sunny and Dyson, Rosemary and Parker, David and Vella, Dominic and Whittaker, Robert (2008) The pull-off test for viscoelastic soft solids.
