This can potentially cause flooding or have negative influences on agriculture and nature. In this research, we study the effects of this change in rainfall and investigate what can be done to reduce the undesirable consequences of these changes. We study the effect of the increasing intensity of peaks of precipitation events on the water system managed by “het Waterschap Regge en Dinkel”. Some explanation of the nature of this problem owner is in order. date: 2008 type: Study Group Report type: NonPeerReviewed format: application/pdf language: en identifier: http://miis.maths.ox.ac.uk/miis/267/1/regge_en_dinkel.pdf format: application/pdf language: en identifier: http://miis.maths.ox.ac.uk/miis/267/2/regge_en_dinkel-report.pdf identifier: Besseling, Niels and Bokhove, Onno and Kolechkina, Alla and Molenaar, Jaap and van Nooyen, Ronald and Rottschafer, Vivi and Stein, Alfred and Stoorvogel, Anton (2008) Math Fights Flooding.
