The MISG 2004 Student Workshop
We strongly support participation in MISG 2004 by postgraduate and honours students from New Zealand and Australia. As in the past we will again be conducting a special workshop for these participants – students will be given guidance on how the workshop will proceed. Also, general talks on mathematical applications will be given (See programme).
Financial support
Students needing a grant-in-aid are asked to provide a brief written statement on their current enrolment status (degree, institution, dates) and a supporting statement from their supervisor. Grants of $NZD500 are envisaged. New Zealand students can also apply to the New Zealand Mathematical Society for support (see NZMS newsletter).
