Abstract

In this report, we focus on the simulation of printed circuit boards (PCB’s) and interconnects, both of which are of great importance in the semiconductor industry. Interconnect and PCB simulation proceeds by using Maxwell’s equations to create a mathematical model. The boundary element method is then used to discretize the equations, and the variational form of the equations are then solved on the graph network. This can then be co-simulated with the circuit on the PCB or the circuit below the interconnect structure.
